The Danish youngster comes in to replace Kjaerbye just before ESL Pro League roster locks come into force.

It has been announced that Danish player Emil "Magisk" Reif has left OpTic gaming, to return to Europe and join Astralis. He joins the leading Danish side after Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye left the side quite suddenly after the Major completed.

The new Astralis roster is:
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
Nicolai "device" Reedtz
Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth
Emil "Magisk" Reif
Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)
Magisk leaving comes mere hours after Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas also left the team. This leaves the OpTic roster severely depleted, especially considering both Kevin "HS" Tarn and coach Chet "ImAPet" Singh had reportedly been looking at new ventures.
For now, the OpTic roster remains as follows:
Adam "friberg" Friberg
Aleksi "allu" Jalli
Kevin "HS" Tarn
Chet "ImAPet" Singh (Coach)
