Sashi signs New Zealand AWPer

Danish esports club Sashi has officially announced another roster change for its Counter-Strike 2 team, signing 26-year-old New Zealand AWPer Michael "chelleos" Hawkins.

chelleos takes the spot of Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand, who had been with the squad since February 2026. Prior to this move, Hawkins spent four years competing for Rooster.

Notably, Sashi announced a few days ago that Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen and Casper "Cabbi" Jensen had been moved to the bench (MistR has since departed the organization). Australians Tynan "TjP" Purtell and Jordan "Hatz" Bajic took their places on the roster. In total, the club has replaced three players, forfeiting all its VRS points – the team previously held the 81st spot in the world ranking and losing its chance to qualify for PGL Major Singapore 2026.
