HLTV: FUT to sign SunPayus

According to unofficial reports, the esports organization FUT is close to signing Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia. HLTV.org reported this, citing its own sources.

The 27-year-old Spanish AWPer is currently on G2's bench. Should the transfer go through, SunPayus will replace Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov in the FUT roster. The team is expected to make its debut with the updated lineup at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, scheduled for October 24-31.

FUT currently sits 5th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. All members of the squad, except cmtry, recently extended their contracts with the club.
