Official: Snappi departs NIP

Esports organization NIP has officially announced the benching of Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer. The announcement was published on the club's X social media account.

Snappi and NIP have mutually agreed for Snappi to step down from the active roster and pass the torch to a new captain.

Thank you, Snappi, for all your hard work and commitment to the team over the past year and a half. You played a vital role in our rebuild, helping take us from an unraked team all the way to Stage 2 of a Major.
You’ve laid the foundations for the team’s future and helped create a platform for our players to compete at the highest level.

The 36-year-old Danish esports athlete has been playing for NIP since January of last year. Previously, he represented Falcons and ENCE. Snappi's average rating over the past three months is 0.86 (in 41 maps).

Karim "Krimbo" Moussa is rumored to be the new IGL of NIP's Counter-Strike 2 roster. The 23-year-old German esports player is currently benched by BIG.

NIP currently sits 28th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 squads. The team placed 17th-24th at 2026 Esports World Cup.
