Counter-Strike 2's peak player count drops to 1.4 million

Average monthly player count of Counter-Strike 2 has declined again over the past month. In July 2026, the average player count of the game fell by 6.92% (63,000 users) compared to the previous month.

Peak player count in July also decreased compared to June, from 1.573 million to 1.420 million users. The statistics were provided by the analytics service Steam Charts.

In a recent update, the developers added new stickers to Counter-Strike 2 featuring participants of the recent IEM Cologne Major 2026.
