Aurora signs Jimpphat and ash
Esports organization Aurora has announced two new members to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo and Ashley "ash" Battye. The official statement was made on social media.
Jimpphat departed MOUZ on June 2nd. He competed for the team from July 2023 to April 2026, after which he was benched. ash left GamerLegion's starting five in December 2025. He was the club's coach for over five years. In April 2026, he ended his tenure with the organization and became a free agent.
Ex-Falcons IGL Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski is rumored to be the team's fifth player. Stoilkovski represented the Falcons since January of last year. In April 2026, the club benched him and brought in Finn "karrigan" Andersen.
Aurora currently sits 8th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The squad placed 3rd-4th at IEM Cologne Major 2026. The organization previously benched Caner "soulfly" Kesici, coach Sezgin "Fabre" Kalayci, and in-game leader Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli.
