Gentle Mates to sell team and leave CS2

Esports organization Gentle Mates intends to sell its Counter-Strike 2 roster and leave the discipline. This was announced by one of the club's founders.

According to an insider KRL, Gentle Mates is currently negotiating a roster sale with organizations such as Heretics, KOI, and GiantX.

Furthermore, rumors suggest that FaZe is interested in one of the team's players – AWPer Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez.

Gentle Mates currently sits 35th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad failed to qualify for IEM Cologne Major 2026.
