Team Spirit eliminate G2 from IEM Cologne Major 2026

Boris "magixx" Vorobiev's team became the third semi-finalist at the Cologne Counter-Strike 2 Major. In the first round of the playoffs, Team Spirit defeated G2 with a scoreline of 2-1 (9:13 on Overpass, 16:14 on Dust2, 25:22 on Mirage).

G2 thus finished their tournament run in 5th-8th place and earned $45,000 in prize money. Team Spirit, meanwhile, advanced to the next round of the tournament bracket, securing at least a top-4 finish.
