ruggah departs Astralis
Danish esports club Astralis has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: coach Casper "ruggah" Due has left the team. The 37-year-old Danish esports athlete has been with Astralis for over two years, since March 2024. His replacement is still unknown.
Earlier, a rumor surfaced on the web that the organization would also be parting ways with captain Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen. Astralis has not confirmed this information. "Rumors regarding any other changes to the team are unsubstantiated", Astralis stated in its official announcement.
Astralis currently sits 15th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The roster was eliminated from the second stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026 with a 1-3 match record.
