BetBoom Team, 9z, and G2 advance to next stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026

Third day of the second stage of the Cologne Major has concluded, revealing the names of three more teams competing in the third stage of the event.

In the decisive matches for advancement to the next stage, BetBoom Team bested Monte, 9z got the better of TYLOO, and G2 prevailed over BIG.

Furthermore, three more squad ended their run in the tournament today: MIBR lost to B8 in the relegation matches, Astralis fell to paiN, while M80 got bested by Legacy.

The fifth and final round of the second stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026 will take place on June 9th, where the teams will compete for the final three spots in the third stage of the competition.
