Brazil represented by largest number of players at IEM Cologne Major 2026. Russia secures second place

Sixteen Russian esports athletes will compete at the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 Major in Cologne. This places Russia second, behind Brazil with 24 players.

China and Ukraine are third and fourth in number of representatives, with 10 players each. Denmark and Australia follow with nine and eight representatives, respectively.

It was previously revealed that B8's Danylo "s1zzi" Vinnyk will be the youngest participant at the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 Major.

Notably, IEM Cologne Major 2026 will take place from June 2-21, 2026, in Cologne, Germany. 32 swuads will compete for a share of $1.25 million in prizes. The event organizers previously announced the seedings for the first stage.
