NEO departs FaZe

38-year-old Polish esports athlete Filip "NEO" Kubski has departed his position as coach of FaZe's Counter-Strike 2 squad. The organization officially announced the news via its X social media account.

Kubski has been with FaZe since July 2023. Analyst Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski will take over as an interim head coach while the team searches for a suitable replacement for NEO.

FaZe failed to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 23 LAN finals, placed 12th-14th at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, 9th-12th at IEM Kraków 2026, and 17th-32nd at BLAST Bounty Winter 2026. The roster is currently in the top 16 in Valve's global ranking. The team's next tournament is BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, which kicks off on March 18.
