ENCE disbands its CS2 roster

Finnish esports club ENCE announced the complete disbandment of its current Counter-Strike 2 roster – all team members, including the coaching staff, have been benched and put up for transfer. The statement was published on the organization's official website.

After a thorough strategic review together with the company leadership and majority shareholders, we have decided to refocus ENCE back to our home — Finland.

Instead of continuing down the same path, we have now decided to reset and build something new with a long-term perspective.

Our focus moving forward is clear: to rebuild a Counter-Strike team, where Finnish talent will be at the core, and to develop the next generation of Finnish stars. We believe that returning to our roots allows us to build a sustainable foundation for the future while strengthening the connection between ENCE and the Finnish Counter-Strike community.

At the time of the disbandment, ENCE's roster sat 60th in Valve's ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad has failed to qualify for any big LAN tournaments this season. In January, the club revealed a double roster change.

 ENCE were:

 Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev
 Paavo "podi" Heiskanen
 Ryan "Neityu" Aubry
 Maciej "F1KU" Miklas
 Szymon "kRaSnaL" Mrozek

 Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn (coach)
