Aleksib accused of tax fraud

NAVI's IGL Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen has been charged with "aggravated tax fraud", according to journalists from the Finnish publication iltalehti.fi.

The charges relate to the Finnish esports athlete's income for a four-month period in 2020. The case was registered in the Eastern Uusimaa Court, with the Finnish Tax Administration serving as the prosecutor. The first hearing is scheduled for April of this year.

Virolainen declined to comment on the situation as the case is not yet closed, but confirmed that the charges relate to income earned from competitions.
