Invites to PGL Astana 2026 announced

Tournament operator PGL has announced the list of teams invited to participate in the upcoming PGL Astana 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which will take place this May.

Team Spirit, G2, PARIVISION, Falcons, FURIA, and others have received invites to the event (based on Valve's official ranking) – 12 squads in total. The remaining four slots will go to the winners of closed qualifiers in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.

The competition will be divided into two parts: the group stage (Swiss format, BO3 matches, the top eight teams advance) and the playoffs (Single Elimination BO3, BO5 in the final).

PGL Astana 2026 will take place from May 7 to 17, 2026, in Astana, Kazakhstan. The event's prize fund will amount to 800,000 US dollars, which will be divided among 16 rosters.
