StarLadder announces new tier 2 LAN tournament

Tournament operator StarLadder has announced a new Counter-Strike 2 LAN event, which will take place from April 25-26, 2026 (qualifiers will begin in March).

The final stage of the competition will be held in Europe as a studio LAN and will play out in a Single Elimination format. The event will feature four teams invited based on the European VRS ranking as of April 6, along with the four winners of the closed qualifiers. The prize pool of the tournament will amount to $50,000.

Open regional qualifiers will take place on the FACEIT platform from March 12-15. Rosters from various countries across the European region will be able to participate. The top 16 teams from the national open competitions will advance to the closed qualifiers, which will take place from March 20 to April 10.
