PGL tournaments in Cluj-Napoca to be hosted until 2029

Cluj-Napoca mayor Emil Boc officially announced the extension of his partnership with tournament operator PGL for several more years. The Romanian city will now host PGL Counter-Strike 2 events in 2027, 2028, and 2029.

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2027 will take place from February 13-21, 2027, while PGL Cluj-Napoca 2028 will be held from February 9-21, 2028. As before, the competitions will play out at the BT Arena. The first PGL tournament in Cluj-Napoca was held in 2025.

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 will take place from February 14 to 22, 2026, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The event's prize pool amounts to $625,000, divided among 16 teams. More detailed information about the competition can be found in our article.
