mithR to continue to work with JiJieHao
36-year-old Danish esports athlete Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg will continue to coach JiJieHao's Counter-Strike 2 roster. He announced this via his X social media account.
Happy to share I will be staying with JiJieHao throughout 2026 after having reached back-to-back grand finals at our last two events.
Very excited to continue my work with them and grateful they have allowed me to pursue my masters in educational psychology while doing so.
Notably, Nyborg helped the team compete at the LAN tournament eXTREMESLAND 2025 in December in China, where JiJieHao ultimately placed second. The squad also placed top two at another event in China, Zhi-Tech Elite Masters 2026.
From July 2024 to March 2025, mithR worked with Liquid, while prior to that, he coached Apeks, MOUZ, Renegades, and other clubs. Last July, Nyborg became the interim coach of Complexity.
JiJieHao currently sits 82nd in Valve's ranking of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams in the world. Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas recently rejoined the roster.
JiJieHao are now:
Hussein "m1N1" Hijazi
Bebu "Bibu" Aadil
Osama "0SAMAS" Orabi
Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas
Dionis "sinnopsyy" Budeci
Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg (coach)
