Premier Season 3 finishes in CS2

On the night of January 19th-20th, a small patch was released in Counter-Strike 2, concluding the third season of Premier. Consequently, Premier mode was temporarily disabled in matchmaking. No other changes were made to the game.

To receive a medal for the third season of Premier, you must have 25 wins in the season and a visible rating at the end of the season. Counter-Strike 2 Premier Season 3 launched on July 16th of last year. The start date for Season 4 is unknown.

Notably, Valve also announced changes to the official map pool for the fourth season of Premier in Counter-Strike 2: Train will be replaced by Anubis. Anubis was removed from the map pool last summer, getting replaced with Overpass. Train, however, was added to CS2's map pool in early 2025.
