HEROIC benches yxngstxr

Norwegian esports club HEROIC announced the benching of Simon "yxngstxr" Boije. The official statement was published on the organization's X social media account.

The 21-year-old Swedish esports athlete joined HEROIC's roster last January. Boije's average rating over the past three months is 0.95 (in 35 maps). The club has not yet revealed the player who will replace him.

Note that HEROIC failed to qualify for the recent StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in Hungary. The squad currently sits 17th lineup Valve's world ranking. With the updated roster, HEROIC will debut at BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 1, which kicks off on January 12.
