Metizport benches MaiL09

Swedish esports organization Metizport has announced another change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster – the club has benched 16-year-old Liam "MaiL09" Tügel, who played for the team since July of last year.

"This decision does not mark the end of MaiL09's journey with us. He remains an active part of the team as we explore the best path forward, whether that involves a loan, transfer, or competing his way back into the lineup", – reads the club's official statement.

Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora, who joined Metizport in May 2024 but was benched in October 2025, has returned to the team's starting five.
