HLTV to begin publishing its 2025 ranking of best players on December 24th

HLTV.org announced the launch of its annual ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 players. The portal will begin publishing the 2025 list on December 24th, when the 20th-place will be revealed.

HLTV will then unveil one player per day for over two weeks until the HLTV Awards 2025 ceremony on January 10th, where the top three esports athletes of the past year will be announced.

Notably, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was crowned the best player of 2024. Second and third places were taken by Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, respectively.
