Rumor: 100 Thieves to sign poiii

According to unofficial reports, 19-year-old Swedish esports athlete Alex "poiii" Nyholm Sundgren may join 100 Thieves' Counter-Strike 2 roster. HLTV reported this, citing its own sources. The American organization itself has not yet made any statements on the matter.

Sundgren has been part of Alliance since July of this year. Prior to that, he spent about a year playing for EYEBALLERS. poiii's average rating over the past three months is 1.21 (in 93 maps).

Note that in November of this year, 100 Thieves officially announced its return to the pro Counter-Strike scene after over five years away from the discipline. Former FaZe member Håvard "rain" Nygaard has become the first player on 100 Thieves' new squad, while Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander has joined the lineup as coach. Furthermore, Nicolai "device" Reedtz is rumored to be taking over as the AWPer on the team.
