DarkZero acquires NRG

Las Vegas-based organization DarkZero Esports has acquired the esports assets of NRG. Both parties officially announced the acquisition on December 19th. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

DarkZero CEO Don Kim will take over as CEO of NRG, replacing Andy Miller, who will remain with the club as an advisor. DarkZero will continue to manage NRG teams, including their Counter-Strike 2 roster. All DarkZero teams will continue to compete under the NRG tag.

Notably, NRG finished the recent StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in 25th-27th place. The squad currently sits 32nd in Valve's global ranking.
