GamerLegion left without IGL
Esports organization GamerLegion has announced another change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the club has benched Erik "ztr" Gustafsson. The official statement was published on the X social media.
The 22-year-old Swedish esports athlete has represented GamerLegion for the past two and a half years. Gustafsson's average rating over the past three months is 0.87 (in 58 maps). His replacement is still unknown. "Our goal is to add more experience to the roster to better support the team's long-term development", the club commented on their decision.
GamerLegion currently sits 23rd in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad placed 28th-30th at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. Notably, coach Ashley "ash" Battye also departed the team a couple of days ago due to health issues.
