friberg announces search for team to coach
Famous Swedish esports athlete Adam "friberg" Friberg announced a search for a new team for the next competitive Counter-Strike 2 season as a coach. He posted this via his X social media account.
Going into 2026 I'm looking for an opportunity in coaching. With vast experience on the server through all the different metas in CS and always being a vocal player & IGL in my previous teams, becoming a coach is the natural next step for me.
After 20 years in CS I've become very strong in the fundamentials, playing in team sports for even longer means that I know how to work in a group and what issues that might and will appear.
As a player I've always been unselfish, making sure the only stat that matter is a W rather then L with good stats, glueing the team together and working towards the same goal & objective. Winning almost everything in CS I also have the winner mentality, which is something you need throughout your roster.
If you're looking for a new coach my DM's are open - I'd love to have a chat!
Notably, Friberg officially announced his transition to coaching back in late 2024. Since then, the Swede has only appeared on the pro Counter-Strike 2 scene as a caster.
Friberg's previous team was Dignitas, where he played from January 2020 to May 2022, after which he became inactive. Friberg previously represented HEROIC, OpTic, NIP, and other clubs. Over the course of his pro Counter-Strike career, which began in 2009, the Swede has earned $432,000 in prizes.
