StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 viewer's guide

Upcoming Counter-Strike 2 Major, StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, will take place in Budapest, Hungary, from November 24 to December 14. The event will be divided into three stages. The total prize pool for the tournament will amount to $1.25 million.

The first stage of the competition will be held from November 24 to 27, in a Swiss best-of-one format; matches for advancement and elimination will be BO3. The top eight squads will advance to the next stage, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.

The second stage will play out from November 29 to December 2, in the same format. The top eight teams will qualify for the third stage, which will also take place in a Swiss format from December 4 to 7. Finally, the eight strongest rosters will go to the playoffs, which will be held in a Single Elimination BO3 format from December 11th to 14th. The final will be BO5.
