BLAST Open 2026 Season 2 announced

Tournament operator BLAST has officially announced the second tournament from the Counter-Strike 2 Open series for 2026. The competition will take place in Europe (the exact location is still unknown) from August 24 to September 6.

The first stage of the event will play out at BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, while the final stage will be held from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the arena. Further details about the upcoming competition will be revealed at a later date.

BLAST Open London 2025 was held from August 27 to September 7, 2025, with the participation of 16 teams. The LAN final played out in London, while the group stage took place online. In the final, G2 bested Vitality with a scoreline of 3:2. Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko was chosen the most valuable player of the event.
