BLAST Open 2026 Season 1 to be held in the Netherlands

Tournament operator BLAST has announced the location of the first Counter-Strike 2 Open tournament in 2026. The competition will be held in Rotterdam. This will be BLAST's first event in the Netherlands.

The first stage of the event will take place at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, while the final stage will play out from March 27 to 29, 2026, at the Rotterdam Ahoy venue with a seating capacity of over 16,000 people. The total prize pool of the competition will be $1.1 million – it will be divided among 16 squads, 12 of which will be invited based on Valve's ranking.

Note that BLAST Open London 2025 is held from August 27 to September 7, 2025 with the participation of 16 rosters. The LAN final will take place in London, while the group stage is held online.
