smooya to play for NIP at US LAN tournament

British esports athlete Owen "smooya" Butterfield will play as a stand-in for NIP at the upcoming Fragadelphia Fragville Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament, which kicks off in a few days.

Butterfield will replace Artem "r1nkle" Moroz, who was unable to obtain the US visa required to travel to the event in time.

Fragadelphia Fragville will be held from September 5 to 7 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Eight squads will participate in the competition – they will share $10,000 in prize money.
