PARIVISION complains about error in Valve's ranking

Esports organization PARIVISION released an official statement complaining about a "critical" error in Valve's official Counter-Strike 2 ranking. The issue concerns the ESL Challenger League Season 50 tournament, the results of which were not taken into account in the ranking.

On September 1, 2025, an update to the Valve Regional Standings was released, placing our team in 35th position. However, the published ranking does not take into account the results of the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup 1, which began on August 11 and ended on September 1.

According to the version of the ranking compiled by HLTV, which includes the aforementioned results, our team should be placed approximately 25th.

This discrepancy is critically important for us. The current position, which does not reflect the actual situation, may directly affect both our future placement in the ranking and the fate of the team for the rest of the season.

We expect that the results of the tournament will be properly included and remain hopeful for objectivity and transparency in the ranking formation.

The first round of regional competitions within the 50th season of ESL Challenger League has recently ended – their winners are PARIVISION (Europe), BESTIA (South America), NRG (North America), Lynn Vision (APAC) and SemperFi (Oceania).
