NAVI, FaZe and Team Spirit eliminated from Esports World Cup 2025
First playday of Esports World Cup 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which is taking place in Saudi Arabia in a Single Elimination format (without a preliminary group stage), has ended.
Based on the results of today's matches, six teams left the competition. In the first round of the event bracket, GamerLegion lost to The MongolZ (7:13 on Overpass, 3:13 on Inferno), NAVI fell to 3DMAX (13:10 on Ancient, 9:13 on Inferno, 11:13 on Nuke), Liquid were defeated by Vitality (11:13 on Mirage, 16:19 on Dust2), Astralis lost to TYLOO (13:8 on Inferno, 7:13 on Overpass, 10:13 on Train), FaZe got bested by Aurora (13:6 on Inferno, 3:13 on Mirage, 7:13 on Overpass), while Team Spirit were taken down by HEROIC (13:5 on Ancient, 3:13 on Nuke, 14:16 on Mirage).
