phzy returns to 9INE
Swedish esports club 9INE has completed its Counter-Strike 2 roster for the new competitive season. The team's fifth player is Love "phzy" Smidebrant, who was loaned from Wildcard.
The 22-year-old Swedish esports athlete replaced AWPer Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski, who departed the squad in early July.
phzy represented Wildcard from July 2024 to July 2025, after which he was moved to the bench. Note that Smidebrant had previously competed for 9INE, from August 2019 to March 2020.
Currently, 9INE occupies 52nd place in the ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 rosters according to Valve. The team's debut with the updated lineup will take place on August 1 at CCT Season 3 Europe Series 4 – 9INE will face Tricked.
