Team Spirit and MOUZ win their debut matches in IEM Cologne 2025 group stage

Last two matches of the opening round of Group B at IEM Cologne 2025 in Germany have ended, leaving two more teams one step away from advancing to the playoffs.

In the first round of the tournament bracket, MOUZ defeated Liquid, while Team Spirit bested HEROIC. The losing teams dropped to the lower bracket of the group, while the winners advanced to the next winners' round.

Notably, three squads from each group will advance to the IEM Cologne 2025 playoffs: the winners will go straight to the semi-finals, while the rosters that take second and third places will get to the quarter-finals.
