Overpass to be included in IEM Cologne 2025 map pool

Tournament operator ESL has announced that Overpass will be included in the map pool for the upcoming IEM Cologne 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, replacing Anubis. The change is effective "immediately", with the exception of the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 22 qualifiers, which are being played out on the old patch.

BLAST has issued a similar statement: Overpass will be included in the map pool for all tournaments starting August 1. The map will appear at ESEA events on July 28, and at CCT events on July 23. Organizers Thunderpick will update the map pool on July 24. PGL has not made any official announcements about this yet.

Today, the developers released a patch in Counter-Strike 2, in which they launched the third season of Premier, made a number of changes to the gameplay, and also updated the competitive map pool. The full list of changes can be found via the link.
