NAVI promote makazze and put entire academy up for transfer

Ukrainian esports club NAVI officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Academy player Drin "makazze" Shaqiri joined the organization's main starting five.

At the same time, the official statement does not specify whose place makazze will take in the squad. The 18-year-old esports athlete from Kosovo has represented NAVI Junior since the end of 2023. Over the past 12 months, Shaqiri has recorded an average rating of 1.19.

In addition, the club has put its entire youth CS2 roster up for transfer. "The limitations of the CS ecosystem do not allow the academy team to further develop under the NAVI tag", the statement says.

Note that NAVI placed 5th-8th at the recent BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the United States. At the moment, the club's main squad is in the top 8 of the world ranking from Valve, while NAVI Junior occupies No. 27.
