Invites to FISSURE Playground 1 announced

Tournament operator FISSURE has announced the full list of teams invited to participate in the upcoming FISSURE Playground 1 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which kicks off in July this year.

Virtus.pro, BetBoom Team, Astralis, FURIA, HEROIC and others have accepted invites to the event (based on Valve's official ranking) – 16 rosters in total.

The competition will be divided into two parts: the group stage (four groups, GSL, BO3 matches, two teams from each group advance) and the playoffs (Single Elimination BO3, BO5 in the final).

FISSURE Playground 1 will be held from July 15 to 20, 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia. The total prize pool of the event will amount to one million US dollars, of which $450,000 will be received by the players.
