Imperial move chayJESUS ​​to bench

Brazilian esports club Imperial has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization has benched Richard "chayJESUS" Seidy.

The 23-year-old esports athlete has represented Imperial since January of this year, while before that he competed for Fluxo. Seidy's average rating over the past three months is 0.94 (in 47 maps). chayJESUS ​​himself commented on this announcement:

During this time with the team. I know that my performance was far below expectations. I searched hard for solutions and I leave with a feeling of individual dissatisfaction.

Anyone who follows our day-to-day work knows how much I dedicated myself and sacrificed my game for the good of the team, but unfortunately the results didn't come in the way we all hoped.

According to rumors, the vacant position in the team will be filled by Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes, who is currently on FURIA's bench.

Imperial placed 28th-30th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The squad currently occupies 44th place in Valve's world ranking.
