Falcons chairman reacts to rumors about kyousuke's buyout

Falcons chairman Musaed Al-Dossary has denied rumors about the buyout of Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin from the Team Spirit's Counter-Strike 2 academy.

Earlier, insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov said that the Saudi club paid Team Spirit about two million dollars for the 17-year-old Russian esports athlete. "The buyout rumors aren’t correct. The buyout was big, but not close to [$2 mil]", Al-Dossary wrote via his X social media account, without revealing any other details of the deal.

Note that on June 23, kyousuke officially joined Falcons' Counter-Strike 2 roster. He replaced the Dane Emil "Magisk" Reif, whom the organization moved to the bench.
