dupreeh retires as CS pro player

32-year-old Danish esports athlete Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen officially announced his retirement from professional Counter-Strike during the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 broadcast.

Rasmussen's last team was Falcons – he competed for them from March to November 2024, after which the organization benched him (in May of this year, he became a free agent). Before that, he spent several months in Preasy and HEROIC.

In a recent interview, Rasmussen also explained why he did not continue to play for the Saudi club. Peter noted that due to a number of reasons, he stopped enjoying the game.

dupreeh began playing on the CS pro scene in 2012. Throughout his career, he has won 32 trophies, including five Majors, and earned $2.2 million in prize money. The Dane has been listed among the top 20 players of the year by HLTV.org seven times.
