3DMAX left without coach

29-year-old French esports athlete Damien "wasiNk" Dufour is no longer the coach of 3DMAX's Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.

Dufour himself commented on his decision as follows:

I joined this team back in March 2024 with the goal of helping a great group break through. And what a ride it’s been. We fought our way into the top20, then flirted with the top10. We qualified for a Major, then a second. We took games off the best, surprised people, and proved we belonged. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was real — and along the way, I grew a lot as a coach and as a person.

Today, this chapter closes. We reached a point where we simply weren’t fully aligned anymore. It happens. No hard feelings, just respect for what we accomplished. I’m grateful for the trust, the grind, and all the people I got to share this journey with. Huge thanks to the players, our staff, the management, and the fans who supported us along the way.

This was my first real experience as a coach, and I’ll carry it with me wherever I go next. What’s next? I don’t know yet, but I’m looking to find out.

wasiNk has been coaching the squad since April 2024. It is still unknown who will fill the vacant position in the starting five.

Note that 3DMAX placed 12th-14th at the ongoing BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the USA. The team currently occupies 13th place in Valve's world ranking.

 3DMAX are now:

 Pierre "Ex3rcice" Bulinge
 Lucas "Lucky" Chastang
 Bryan "Maka" Canda
 Filip "Graviti" Brankovic
 Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro
