Metizport benches hampus
Norwegian esports club Metizport has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization benched and put Hampus "hampus" Poser up for transfer. "This was by no means an easy decision. But as a team, we believe it's time to rethink our strategy and explore new directions", the official statement claims.
The 26-year-old Swede has been representing Metizport since January of this year, while before that he was part of Johnny Speed, BLEED, and NIP. Poser's average rating over the past three months is 1.04 (in 70 maps).
Earlier it became known that 20-year-old Swedish esports athlete Adam "adamb" Ångström will also soon depart Metizport's Counter-Strike 2 squad – his contract with the club expires on June 30.
Note that Metizport placed last at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the USA – the team did not win a single match in the first stage of the Major. At the moment, the roster occupies 62nd place in Valve's world ranking.
Metizport are now:
Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora
Lucas "L00m1" Haukland
Isak "isak" Fahlén
Ahmed "abdi" Abdi (coach)
