FaZe and Aurora lose their openers at IEM Dallas 2025

Opening matches of the group stage at IEM Dallas 2025 in the USA have ended, with eight teams getting one step closer to reaching the final stage of the event.

In the first round of Group A, Vitality defeated Legacy, GamerLegion bested 3DMAX, The MongolZ prevailed over FURIA, and G2 defeated Lynn Vision. In Group B, MOUZ got the better of BC.Game, Liquid defeated FaZe, HEROIC beaters Aurora, and Falcons got the better of NRG.

The losing teams fell to the lower bracket, while the winners advanced to the next winners' round, where they will compete for slots in the tournament playoffs today.

Note that IEM Dallas 2025 is taking place from May 19 to 25 in Dallas, USA. The total prize pool of the event is $300,000 – it will be divided among 16 squads. More detailed information about the competition can be found via the link.
