Thunderpick World Championship 2025 to be held in Malta

Thunderpick has announced four new regional Counter-Strike 2 tournaments (two in South America, one in Europe and one in North America), as well as a location for the main event of the season – Thunderpick World Championship 2025.

Each of the online competitions will feature a prize pool of $25,000 and a slot in the closed qualifier. The closed qualifier will take place from September 9 to 11 with the participation of six winners of regional tournaments and ten invitees.

Thunderpick World Championship 2025 will take place from October 15 to 19 this year in Malta with the participation of eight squads (four rosters will advance to the tournament through the closed qualifier, four more will be invited based on the VRS rating). The prize pool of the event will amount to $850,000.

Earlier, NAVI Junior earned a spot in the closed qualifier for Thunderpick World Championship 2025, winning Thunderpick World Championship 2025 European Series 1 online tournament.
