dgt to miss first days of PGL Astana 2025

paiN will not kick off its journey in full force at the upcoming PGL Astana 2025, which starts tomorrow in Astana. The new member of the team, Franco "dgt" Garcia, will miss the first two playdays of the event. Instead, the squad will be coached by Henrique "rikz" Waku. The organization announced this via its X social media account.

We would like to inform you that due to the short time between the signing of player Franco "dgt" Garcia and the start of PGL Astana 2025, there was a delay in the issuance of his entry visa to Kazakhstan. Despite immediate efforts from all parties involved, the document was only approved with entry permitted starting May 12. In the meantime, our coach Henrique "rikz" Waku will stand in as a substitute for the first two days of the competition.

Note that PGL Astana 2025 will take place from May 10 to 18, 2025 in Astana, Kazakhstan, with the participation of 16 teams. The total prize pool of the event will amount to $1.25 million, half of which will go to the players, half to the clubs. In the first round of the group stage, paiN will face HOTU.
