Team Spirit, NAVI and Virtus.pro join Esports World Cup 2025 club support program

Organizers of the large-scale Esports World Cup festival, which is held annually in Saudi Arabia, have revealed the list of participants in the club support program for 2025 – their number has increased to 40.

Eight organizations that showed the best results in the overall standings at Esports World Cup 2024 were invited to the program. The remaining squads went through the selection procedure, even if they were EWC partners last year. In total, the organizers reviewed 200 applications.

Thus, 19 new organizations received membership in the program – including HEROIC, MOUZ and Team Spirit. At the same time, nine EWC 2024 partners did not pass the selection this year – among them are OG, NRG, TSM and others.

The Esports World Cup Foundation program is aimed at globalizing esports by opening new teams in different disciplines and regions. The fund has set aside $20 million in 2025 to reach new audiences through partner brands and marketing campaigns, with each club limited to $1 million under the initiative.
