ESL Pro League Season 23 to be held in arena with live audience
Tournament operator ESL has announced new details about the 23rd season of the Counter-Strike 2 EPL, which will take place early next year.
The competition will take place in the same format (Play-In + group stage + playoffs), but all matches of the final stage of the tournament will play out in an arena in front of a live audience. Moreover, ESL Pro League Season 23 will feature a match for third place in a BO3 format.
ESL Pro League Season 23 will be held from February 27 to March 13. The total prize pool of the event will amount to one million US dollars – it will be fought for by 24 teams. Other details about the competition, including its location, will be unveiled later.
Note that the current ESL Pro League Season 21 is taking place from March 1 to 16, 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden. The tournament features a total prize pool of $400,000 – it will be divided between 24 squads. More detailed information about the event can be found via the link.
