Endpoint puts its CS2 roster on pause

British esports club Endpoint has put its Counter-Strike 2 division on pause – all team members have entered free agency. The official announcement was published on organization's X social media account.

The club's statement notes that invites to tournaments based on Valve's official ranking create a "much smaller and internal ecosystem".

"Combining this with a lack of funding in the UK esports scene, unfortunately means that the costs incurred compared to revenue (or potential of) become too great a risk for the wider company," the announcement claims.

At the same time, Endpoint's management, as follows from the statement, is not completely closing its Counter-Strike division – the club will continue to support the local scene and does not rule out the possibility of signing a new squad in the future.

Endpoint's former roster looks as follows:

 Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath
 Kia "Surreal" Man
 Oscar "AZUWU" Bell
 Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel
 Jan "cej0t" Dyl
