PGL Bucharest 2025 qualifiers announced

Tournament operator PGL has announced details on the qualifiers for the upcoming PGL Bucharest 2025 Counter-Strike 2 event with a prize pool of $1.25 million. The competition will take place from April 5 to 13 in Bucharest, Romania.

Twelve teams will receive invites to the tournament (based on Valve's ranking); four more squads will get to the event through regional qualifiers (in Europe, Asia, North America, South America).

Each of the aforementioned regions will host open qualifiers, following which the eight strongest rosters will advance to the closed stage of the qualifying cycle (their number may vary depending on the number of squads that accept direct invites to the closed qualifiers).

The open qualifier dates are as follows:

Open Qualifier #1 - February 14-15
Open Qualifier #2 - February 16-17
Open Qualifier #3 - February 20-21
Open Qualifier #4 - February 22-23

The closed qualifier dates are as follows:

Europe, NA, SA
Closed Qualifier Round #1 - February 28-March 3
Closed Qualifier Round #2 - March 7-8

Asia
Closed Qualifier Round #1 - February 24-27
Closed Qualifier Round #2 - March 6-9
