IEM Katowice 2025 seeding revealed
Oganizers of the prestigious IEM Katowice 2024 Counter-Strike 2 tournament have unveiled the seeding of the participants. The matchups of the Play-In stage, as well as the seeding of squads in the group stage, have been set.
The event will kick off with the Play-In (Double Elimination) stage, which will feature sixteen roster – the eight strongest of them will advance to the group stage. The openers will be BO1, while the rest – BO3.
In the group stage (Double Elimination), along with the best teams from Play-In, eight more squads that received direct invites will fight for playoff spots. Each of the two groups will feature three tickets to the decisive stage of the event.
IEM Katowice 2025 will take place from January 29 to February 9, 2025 in Katowice, Poland. The total prize pool of the tournament will amount to one million US dollars, of which $400,000 will go to the winner.
